“SANAT-2012”: Vivat, Sanat!

The results of the OPEN Professional Contest of printing “Sanat” have been announced. The contest was held among print houses of Russia and CIS which are working on all types of offset web newspapers’ print presses.

Contest Organizers stated two nominations: “The best newspaper” and “The best newspaper’s product printed on the enamel paper”. The contest final took place in Kazan on September 27th, within the framework of the informational-practical conference “Editor and Printer: Dialogs about newspaper business”. 34 issues have been sent to the first OPEN Professional Contest of printing “Sanat” from newspaper print houses of Russia, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan. Authoritative jury consisted of the print houses directors: Sergei Annenkov (SLL “Prime-Print Moscow”); Sergei Zamuraev (SLL “Premier-Inform”); Petr Ivanov (CJSC “Extra-M”); Sergei Kucheravij (CJSC “PolygraphService”); Sergei Mironov (SLL “Poligraphia”); Vladimir Poluyanov (SLL “News-print rotation”); Andrei Potapov (SLL “Alfa-News”); Adis Sulejmanov (SLL EPC “Guzel”); Igor Shirshikov (SLL “Orsk Press”), headed by Islam Ahmetzyanov - sophisticated Tatarstan specialist in edition-printing sphere.

Evaluating the quality of represented works, the jury members took in account all the technological characteristics connected with newspaper printing.

The Russian print houses are the winners and awardees of the contest.

2 place – CJSC “Extra-M”, Moscow
3 place – OJSC EPC “Tsaritsyn”, Volgograd
