BOBST Firenze's new Expert M3 printing line has been installed

The configuration of each piece of equipment is focused on the manufacture of a specialized product, which makes the label printing process more efficient and gives the best price and quality to the consumer.

For example, the latest purchased printing press is focused on the production of labels on baseless and shrink films. For this purpose, the width of the purchased machines is 530 mm. The press has a unit for applying water-based white or special varnish, and a die-cutting section is not included in the configuration of this machine to reduce material pass and, therefore, reduce film waste. A trimming module has been added to the configuration. To work with film materials, including highly stretchy ones, Expert M3 is equipped with a refrigerator for water cooling of the cylinders, which allows maintaining a constant temperature of the web, a servo drive for adjusting the film tension and a system for constant control and correction of registration during printing. All these options are necessary for the production of quality products with minimal waste on stretchy materials.

Simultaneously with the installation of the new machine, Vneshmultigraph specialists have made the modernization of one of the previously installed BOBST Combat M3 machine (width 530 mm, manufactured in 2015) with a module for printing on the adhesive layer.

With the installation of the second film printing press, monthly production increased to 500,000 m2, and LegaPrint customers got the reliability, since the printing capacity is now duplicated by two machines.
