Cityline Express goes East

Geography of printing equipment deliveries of the company “Vneshmultigraph” is extended with a new address in Central Asia. Cityline Express printing machine is installed in the largest newspaper and magazine printshop in Uzbekistan – PPJSC “Sharq”.

Publishing-Printing Joint-Stock Company “Sharq” (in the Uzbek language it means “East”) keeps its history from the moment of printing house construction in 1921 and from the opening of the publishing house “Sredazkniga” in 1924. The following merger of the two enterprises was a creation of the stabile professional foundation for development of the state publishing and printing enterprise. For more than 90-year history “Sharq” passed a difficult way from small printing house to high-tech printing enterprise supplying its products to millions of people in Uzbekistan and abroad. Over the past ten years the enterprise experienced significant qualitative changes in production technology, management and production sale. And recently one more bright page was written in the history of printshop’s equipment. In August, 2014 new printing machine Cityline Express was installed by engineers of VMG service center. The printing press consists of two mono units with integrated unwinds, one printing tower for 4+4 printing with unwind and folder 1:2:2.

Today Joint-Stock Company “Sharq” is the only printshop in Uzbekistan and Central Asia which produces national newspapers, magazines, books, brochures, labels and even can print-on-demand.
