Smag at LabelExpo 2014

French company SMAG demonstrated its equipment in operation during the LabelExpo Americas 2014 exhibition, which took place on the 9th-11th of September 2014.
The following products have been shown at the booth:
- DIGITAL GALAXIE SGV/HGV – the line for the flat bed silk screen printing, semi rotary flexo station, flat bed hot stamping, semi rotary die cutting unit
- SIRIUS 420mm - slitter rewinder inspection machine with 100% control.
During three days of the exhibition a great interest from the luxury label manufactures was shown to the flat bed silk screen printing presses both on the European and on the American market. Once again the exhibition has confirmed the world tendency to the necessity for 100% production control online. Therefore more and more label and package manufactures install slitter cutting machines equipped by such automated control systems.
Visitors of Smag booth had a possibility to study both presses at working process, to evaluate the samples printed online and also to discuss with the company representatives all advantages of the total online inspection, the necessity of the high quality post press processing for the increasing of label attractiveness and many other actual questions for the printing shops.
