“Media-holding “ERNUR” is an emerging company on the newspaper-printing market. This company can boast of prompt increase in the newspaper production and as a result in new web offset machines installations.
Here are some major milestones:
June, 2011 – CityLine Express newspaper line was installed in a following configuration: two 4x4 towers, one 2x2 printing unit, a double reel stand with electrical hoist, monounit with an integrated unwind and 1:2:2 folder with a quarter fold chopper type;
January, 2013 – the building of a new newspaper printing house in the capital of Kazakhstan - Astana and installation of CityLine Express newspaper line in a following configuration: two monounits with integrated unwinds, 1:2:2 folder and two 4x4 towers equipped by the standalone unwinds.
And recently, in September, 2014 VMG company made the installation of the second CityLine Express newspaper printing press in Astana in a following configuration: 1:2:2 folder, two 4x4 towers equipped by standalone unwinds.
The newest printing facility in Astana comprises of 850 sq. meters workshop area with two newspaper press lines. According to the contracts with the publishers of large newspapers, the time limits for newspapers manufacturing are extremely tough. In order to meet the demands of customers, it was decided to purchase the second printing press in a configuration similar to the first one. “We won’t keep our second CityLine Express press as a reserve”, - said the head of the media-holding Mr Erlan Nurmakhanov - the printing press will work nominally and it will help us to reduce the workload of the first printing line. We have recently purchased a new UV-dryer at VMG company and soon we’ll start printing on coated paper. That will be a new activity area for us.
Today “Media-holding “ERNUR” is the biggest printing group in Kazakhstan, it has a workforce of more, than 400 employees.
In September, 2014 Mr Erlan Nurmakhanov had an anniversary, he was forty. The installation of new CityLine Express newspaper printing press was the best present to him on the date.
