Installation of М360 Manugraph printing presses in the USA

Manugraph Americas Inc. announced about the installation of the third M360 printing press in the USA to the Adrian (MI) Daily Telegram. Installation of two pieces of 4-High tower to an existing Goss Community/Tensor press was completed.

Manugraph installation technicians has removed 3-floor units, relocated an existing Community 4-high tower to the left of the folder, and installed the two new M360 4-high towers to the right of the folder. In addition to the new M360 towers the order also included a rebuilt roll stand, modifications to the existing upper former, and the installation of a new MDGM Digital Motion Control press drive and rebuilt drive motor.

This order fr om Adrian (MI) Daily Telegram closely followed the 20-unit M360 order at Paxton Media’s High Point (NC) Enterprise facility, and the 8-unit M360 order at the Murray (KY) Ledger.

“The Paxton order was a complete press wh ere we could demonstrate our folders, autopasters and our M360 printing units. In Murray we are able to demonstrate the integration capabilities of the M360 tower to Community type presses” said Ron Ehrhardt – Vice President Sales for Manugraph Americas.

 

The Manugraph India manufactured M360 is fully compatible to the existing Community press with compatible plate and blanket lockups, seamless mechanical and electrical integration, in addition to upgraded features such as brush dampening, pneumatic actuation, and motorized registration control.

“We are seeing a renewed interest in newspaper companies adding equipment to their existing presses. Because of this interest we are now ordering new M360 towers from our India factory on spec in order to have towers readily available for faster purchases”, - added Ehrhardt.
