Installation of ORTHOTEC SRFD4040 line for label finishing

In March 2020, VMG specialists installed a new ORTHOTEC SRFD4040 label finishing machine. The manufacturer has been engaged in the design and manufacture of equipment for post-print finishing of labels made on flexographic and digital machines for more than 50 years.

The purchased model ORTHOTEC SRFD4040 has the highest productivity among the web flat-screen printing machines for label processing - up to 6,000 iph / hour. The machine works with web materials up to 420 mm wide and 0.03-0.3 mm thick. The maximum clamping force of the hot stamping section is thirty tons. The line includes a screen printing section with UV dryer and a printing area of ??400x400 mm, hot stamping and embossing modules, as well as a semi-rotational die cutting section. The machine is equipped with a system for longitudinal cutting of the web and integrated winding of rolls with a waste removal device. This model is characterized by reliable design, as well as simplicity and ease of service.

The new ORTHOTEC SRFD4040 finishing line will increase productivity and expand the printing house's ability to produce complex labels by performing various finishing operations: applying screen varnishes with tactile properties, volumetric embossing, cold and hot foil stamping and others.
