Nuova GIDUE S.r.L is moving up to a new level

The outgoing year has been fruitful and successful for Nuova GIDUE S.r.L in the segment of the manufacturing equipment’s sale, providing a strong impulse for the future business growth and development. Within the past eleven months, 67 flexo printing complexes were dispatched and put into operation with the maximum production download.

Preliminary statistics for the year confirm that the implemented project of COMBAT MX, a budget high-quality flex machine, has proved to be effective and successful. This model accounts for a third of all the dispatched equipment. Considering these sale results, the Company management has decided to further develop this perspective model. In 2013 at the exhibition LabelExpo Europe, the Combat MX was presented in a complex with two die-cutting sections and 3600 die-cutting register. It is worth mentioning a growing interest in the Gidue equipment in the American market where a number of machines has already been installed. In China a web machine of combined printing (offset, flexo, gravure printing) aimed at producing cardboard products has been put into operation. Moreover, the customers of the company Gidue Rus keep growing the range of their equipment; during this year 5 printing Gidue complexes have been installed in Russia and 1 - in Belarus. In the past summer a long-expected transfer of all production facilities to a new area has been accomplished. The head of the Company has decided not to move too far fr om the place which is well-known to everybody. The new spacious building is located again in the suburbs of Florence, in the place Campi-Bisenzio. Larger areas of the assembly manufacturing allow producing simultaneously 16 complexes. This has doubled the Company’s productivity while reducing the order processing time from the moment the machine is ordered. The main news of the company in the HR area is the appointment of Mr. Matteo Cardinotti to the Managing Director position. Previously, Mr. Cardinotti has for many years headed the Research Division of Gidue and optimimized the work of all units. A newcomer to Gidue, Mr. Mauruzio Trecate, was appointed to the Sales Director position. Mr. Trecate has vast experience of working in the web printing market. He has worked for 20 years in the Italian company CeruttiGroup, which is the manufacturer of rotogravure and flexographic presses for packaging and specialty printing, wh ere he held several management positions including the Managing Director of Flexotecnica SpA and the Managing Director of Cerutti Asia Pacific operations. The president of Gidue Mr. Federico d’Annunzio concludes: “We believe that these new appointments will strengthen our existing organization and will help us to prepare for our future growth in the market”.  

As the originator of most successful inventions in the field of flexo printing, Mr. Federico d’Annunzio has not changed his practices. This year he presented the full automation of die-cutting modules in a complex with the new system Excellence TM, an automatic exchange of printing cylinders in a printing process without stopping the press, which allows reducing waste during transition from circulation by circulation. The automatic preregister and the control of register have been successfully commissioned and have become a standard for the mechanic complex Combat M1 while also making it possible to fit the press with the systems of full automation. Successful production trials have demonstrated excellent results for the new section of silk-screen printing New RSI Stork/Gidue intended to work with nets both Rotoplate and Rotamesh. The year 2013 has truly been productive and successful for Gidue and it has established the conditions for further intensive development of the business of the company in the coming 2014.
