BOBST company took part in LabelExpo 2017 exhibition. The main exhibits of the booth became the flexographic printing lines BOBST M1, M5X and M6, live demonstrations of which took place during all the days of the exhibition. REVO technology has changed on M5X and M6 printing presses, which allows to avoid the use of Pantone colors during the label and packaging products printing.
BOBST company has shown M8 printing press for the first time, designed for printing on cardboard with a density of 60 to 600 g / m2, films from 12 microns, aluminum foil from 20 microns and tube laminate. The maximum speed of the machine is 400 m / min. The machine can be equipped with various types of dryings for printing with water, alcohol or UV-based paints. During the show, the visitors have got acquainted with the system of transition from circulation to circulation in non-stop mode due to the change of the form sleeves without the machine stoppage.
A special interest of the visitors of the exhibition was caused by the presentation of M6 printing press, which in real time competed with the screened similar M6 machine, installed two years ago in the printing house of Milan. Both printing presses almost synchronously rebuilt from circulation to circulation in less than two minutes, and worked on seven basic paints using REVO technology. That printing press won, which quickly came out on a new print run.
Starting from 2018, it will be possible to supply a new modification of M5-M5X. These machines are manufactured by the flow-line conveyer method, regardless of the availability of specific orders. They will be limited in a set of options, the number of sections will be 8, 10 or 12, and M5X will be available in two versions of a width of 370 or 430 mm. The big plus of M5X is the lower price compared to M5 press and the minimum delivery time.

The medium-web duplex reel-cutting equipment Solitaire 860 mm with a standalone shaft rewinder of 1000 mm diameter, equipped with a lift for lifting the reels and a web alignment system. During the presentation, the work at high speeds with a 38 micron basement film was demonstrated. The reel-cutting system can operate at speed up to 500 m / min, with different materials from 9 to 250 microns thickness, a range of possible widths from 450 to 1000 mm. Turret rewinder Opal of 520 mm width with a system of adhesive-free fastening of the material on the core. Slitter rewinder equipment Opal 330 mm with one die-cutting unit, working into the register. ORTHOTEC company has shown several units of the manufactured equipment. The printing press for hot stamping and screen printing SRFD3030, printing field 300x300mm, speed up to 6000 cycles per hour. A new development was demonstrated for the first time - a high-speed hot stamping machine with the ability to operate at speed up to 100 m / min. Visitors appreciated the reliable design of the machine and the high quality of embossing during the work at any speed.
SFT3536 \ DG - 5-section semi-rotary offset UV press for label printing has been also presented. For this model, the DIGITAL Color Automation system is available, which automatically adjusts the sectional ink feed and adjusts the dampening, based on the parameters of the working file, the speed of printing. And also saves parameters for repeated works.
