Installation of flexographic printing press BOBST MX in Moscow

Forintek Holding in the frames of expanding of its production capabilities has purchased MX 370 8K flexographic printing press, manufactured by BOBST Firenze (Italy) company, for the production of high-quality label products.

Since 1990, Forintek Holding has been developing and implementing integrated solutions for packaging and label production for different products. In 2004, on the basis of the holding, “Printing industry” Department was established for supporting its customers. The basis of production was a 4-color machine on water-based inks.

In connection with the growth of orders for full-color self-adhesive labels the printing house of Forintek Holding has taken a decision to purchase a flexographic equipment. The printing house has made its choice in favor of BOBST MX 370 8K printing press, based on the ease of use and performance of this equipment, taking into consideration the technical requirements. The installation of the machine was made by VMG engineering specialists and successfully put into operation in June 2018.

BOBST MX flexographic line will allow Forintek to reduce the time of printing, to offer its customers a new quality and possibilities of performance of self-adhesive labels. MX printing line is equipped with a section of continuous or selective varnishing, laminating and embossing with foil, as well as with a module for web turning.

VMG company thanks Forintek Holding for their cooperation. We’d like to note that this installation was special, since the machine should work on the 7th floor of one of the Technoparks of Moscow. In spite of the extremely compactness of the machine, the layout of the building's premises did not allow to make rigging works without dismantling the equipment. However, thanks to the well-coordinated work of the VMG service engineers and the representatives of Forintek, it was possible to install the equipment over one weekend without breaking the usual working schedule of the whole building.
