Installation of the next flexographic printing press BOBST M5X in VMS-Print printing house

In 2019, in JSC VMS-Print Printing Complex (Podolsk), with the help of the Vneshmultigraph (VMG) service center, a 10-color highly automated servo-printing press M5X, by Italian manufacturer BOBST Firenze, was installed.
2019 year for VMS-Print was full of events: new premises for the flexographic site was completed, all production facilities for the production of labels and flexible packaging were transferred to a new spacious workshop.
VMS-Print, founded in 2001, is one of the fastest growing printing companies in the Central region of the Russian Federation. The main directions of the company are the production of packaging from cardboard and microcorrugated cardboard, the production of labels, flexible packaging and tube laminate. The area of production and storage facilities today is 14,000 m2.
The first direction of the company, 18 years ago was flexo printing. Since then, this site has been constantly developing and this year it has been added by a highly automated M5X BOBST Firenze servo-driven machine.
VMS-Print Printing Complex has been cooperating with the manufacturer BOBST (GIDUE) for 14 years: during this time, 3 printing lines of this manufacturer were put into operation at the printing house. The most recent purchase is the new BOBST M5X servo-driven flexo printing press. The machine allows high-quality printing and finishing of any materials from 12 micron baseless films, self-adhesive materials to a tube laminate and lightweight cardboard. The machine has 10 colorful sections with automatic control systems register and print quality, the ability to work by a second run. Finishing modules provide multi-page labels in one run, printing on the glue, cold stamping, lamination, die-cutting and hot stamping. Printing house operators, first of all, note the ease of use of BOBST equipment: this is a quick setup with minimal waste, and automatic register hold, which allows the operator to use his working time more efficiently. Operators call very useful additions: a crane for installation in a section of magnetic cylinders and a rail system for moving finishing modules, as well as an operator-friendly height of placement of finishing modules.
